Syria - 21/10/09

Just back yesterday from a brilliant and extremely enjoyable trip to Syria. This was one of the friendliest countries I have ever visited – in the hotels, taxis, souqs, the bedu – everywhere - just made the trip so easy and enjoyable. We made most of the trips except Bosra which we will do next time! Labib the guide and Hassam the driver were both brilliant and perfect and it was fascinating learning about Syria through their eyes. Loads more I could write but just wanted to say thank you to you and team for doing such a fantastic job and making the trip a really special one."

we had a fantastic time. The Syrians are so hospitable and kind, we all felt very safe and well looked after by our guides and driver. The whole trip to Syria surpassed our expectations.The best sight for me were the ruins as you drive into Palmyra - awesome is the best word for that. Throughout the holiday we had fun, laughed and walked a lot, learnt a great deal through the guides, and ate well! What an outstanding trip! Our warmest congratulations and thanks for putting together the arrangements. Everything worked like clock-work!
We have got some wonderful memories of all the places we visited, people we met and the terrifying landscapes through which we travelled. Shanghai was also a howling success. I was able to visit many of the places as I new as a child as well as my father’s old factory. One of the added bonuses of the trip was meeting up with two of you other clients in Bokhara. They became firm friends and from Bishkek onwards we usually met up in the evening for a drink and a meal.
You have got some extremely competent country based colleagues. I would be grateful if you would pass on my positive comments to you local offices, as I believe it is important that they are informed when they are doing a good job. Many thanks."

Grand Silk Road Tour - 01/06/06

I certainly was in every way impressed with the Grand Silk Road Tour, and delighted that despite my older age and the heat in Uzbekistan I was well able to get around and make the most of the tour.
The standrad of hotel was well above expecation, and the long drives gave us good opportunity to study not only the scenery, but also the farming, irrigation and the geology.
I would like to go on a tour of Turkmenistan and Iran in the future so I will be contacting you in the future.

Our time spent riding in the desert, seeing these great landscapes and I also loved Petra, surley one of the wonders of the world and the Dead Sea was exactly right for our last day. "Dear Mrs Evans,
Having just returned from your Azerbaijan tour, my wife and I both enjoyed the tour which we found most interesting. All the arrangements went well and our guide Asya and driver Rasim, were excellent. We all got on well together. They looked after us the entire time including when we had free time so that were perhaps a little less enterprising than we might have been.
Sheki proved to be delightful – even though the itinerary was very well planned, we would have liked to have more time there. We especially liked the Caravanserai, it was extremely atmospheric.
All in all an excellent tour. We hope that we may travel with you gain sometime."
