Silk Road & Beyond

Beach Ma National Park

This wonderful area is at an elevation of 1200m but is only 20km form Canh Duong beach. It’s a stunning location that the French discovered and some ruins of the villas they built in the 1930s can still be seen. There are wonderful views across the coastline and the area was used by American forces as a fortified observation post.

There are many trails through the park and a lot of opportunities to see a wide variety of bird species – over 330 different birds live here. Do Quyen waterfall is spectacular, falling more than 300m over the rocks. There are also ex-American army observation posts that can be visited which give fantastic panoramic vistas over the area.
