Busan is Korea’s main port city on the country’s south east coast. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer, the city is full of vigorous energy and holds a variety of festivals and events all year round. Do not miss Beomosa Temple, established in 678 it is one of five special Buddhist temples in Korea.

Visit the famous Jagalchi fish market where kilometres of the freshest fish are on display, much of it live and nearby several restaurants serve the Pusan speciality, raw fish Korean style.

A short climb up Busan tower offers a nice panorama of Busan city and the surrounding islands. Hundae Beach just outside Busan is the premier holiday resort on this coast.
