Tour Overview

On part one of your epic journey, you will follow in the footsteps of some the great medieval travellers such as Marco Polo and Ibn Battuta as you follow the Silk Road from West to East. Beginning in Istanbul you travel to the shores of the Black Sea, and explore the amazing landscapes of Cappadocia before crossing the land border into Syria, where you will discover the amazing sights of Aleppo, Palmyra and Damascus.

A comfortable tour travelling through two very different countries. Accommodation in South-Eastern Turkey is not of the same standard as in the rest of the country. You may experience some delays in crossing the border.
