Kompong Cham

Situated on the banks of the majestic Mekong River, Kompong Cham is Cambodia’s third largest city and a perfect place to access the nearby Wat Nokor.

The eleventh century Buddhist shrine built of sandstone and laterite, is still home to a group of practising monks and is a peaceful place of calm and reflection. Of great interest is a large reclining Buddha and the intact stone work of the outer walls.
