An isolated region in the north of Laos, very close to the border with China, and within the Golden Triangle is the valley of Muang Sin. This is a most relaxing village, surrounded by mountains and rice fields. The forests here are home to numerous villages of the local hill tribes. As the morning mist disperses, you will witness many of the tribes people walking, maybe for hours, to get to the town market. Her you will find many traditional Thai Lu houses, with thatched roofs and close by are the villages of the Lao Theung and Loa Sung tribes.
